Winter Regional Finals 2008

Regional Championships were busy. Fulminante-Cen scored 65% in his freestyle. I was happy with our performance, but a little concerned that he seemed a bit lacklustre. Since then, he has been hacking, cantering in the fields and generally out of the school. He should have had the month off, but a wild card entry for the PetPlan Area Festival Championships has put paid to that! Orfebre was wonderful, he performed well and was only just out of the placings in both tests. At this level, it was all I could wish for, and I am delighted with him. Marie had a bit of a learning curve. In the novice she made a small error which cost her dearly, and she learnt a hard lesson. But well done Marie, as it was the best test I have ever seen them do, and they made me very proud. In the elementary, they did well, and achieved a creditable score, placing them 5th in the restricted section. WELL DONE!!!!!
