The lovely Jugador XVIII has qualified for the Novice Freestyle semifinals at the Winter Regionals, with a 72% test at Berkshire RC. He is such a fabulous horse, just loves his work.
Fulminante-Cen qualified for the Elementary Freestyle with a win at Pencoed. He is still quite a challenging horse, but I think we are now addressing the problems, I train regularly with Adam Kemp and he has encouraged me to be more assertive with him. I have found it hard to be positive with him when he is behaving like a stallion, but I do need to remind him that I am the boss and make sure we respect each other.
Centauro has part qualified at Medium, and has won 2 Advanced Mediums but not on a qualifying percentage. His changes are green, and I am working on it. His last Advanced Medium was a qualifying score, but not a win! But we are still forging the partnership and my last session with Adam was the best he has gone so far, so am very positive about him. Must get some pictures of him to post on the blog! I am taking him to Wellington and Sparsholt to do Medium and Advanced Medium Freestyle - I would just love to have all four of them at the Regionals in February! Four Purebred Spanish Horses all at the Regionals, now how good would that be, for the breed, the sport and for me! Well, nearly there, just one to go.....
