Fulminante-Cen stars at UK Stallion Expo!

We had a great weekend at the inaugural UK Stallion Expo at Keysoe on the weekend of 13-14 Feb. After a dreadful journey up on the Friday night, we settled in and Fulminante had a comfortable night. There were about 70 or so stallions there, but he was chilled as ever.

On the Saturday, we did the trot up, Pippa led him for it and had him beautifully presented, he looked stunning and moved superbly.

The ridden presentation went very well, he felt very forward, loose and elastic. He was not fazed at all by the atmosphere, or the decoration and ignored the crowd, giving me a great ride.
In the evening, we had been asked to do a display in Spanish dress, he looked stunning in the full Spanish tack, and we took a risk and put Connie "a la gruppa" (on his haunches) hehind me, she was dressed in a flamenco dress and it was awesome! My two friends Rose and Sarh came also in flamenco costume and we did a colourful and energetic display which was very well received.

On the Sunday another trot up and ridden presentation, he was tired but pulled out all the stops for me again and showed off superbly. I am delighted with him, his behaviour throughout the entire weekend was impeccable, he really showed the best of the Pura Raza Espanola, we are all very proud of him. Best of all, he carried me and found his own energy, which is a huge improvement from this time last year when I felt I had to carry him.

Hopefully I will soon have some photos to post of the weekend.
