Had a great time last week in Spain, apart from the weather which was rubbish. Went to visit the stud where Fulminante was bred, they were very interested to see how he has developed. Got to ride several horses, some brothers of Fulminante, and their very exciting young stallion Jordan, which is doing very well in the young horse classes in Spain. he was so powerful, yet soft and light - absolute bliss! It was a very short visit, just a couple of days, but I was able to try lots of horses, some of which may be suitable for clients in this country. Can't wait to go back!
Life seems so much simpler in Spain, and there is no rush to do anything. I love the culture there, the food, the people, as well as the horses. It was a good job the sun was shining when I got home or I might just have got on the first flight back.
